Proven efficacy for painful exudating wounds at dressing change and persistant daily pain. Biatain Ibu combines superior exudates management with the local (nonsystemic) continuous release of ibuprofen for improved patient outcomes.

Biatain Ibu combines superior exudate management and continuous release of ibuprofen. Biatain Ibu releases ibuprofen locally with no observed systemic effect. In the presence of exudate, there is a sustained release of a low dose of ibuprofen into the wound bed throughout the wear time of the dressing. One dressing (10 x 10 cm) contains 50 mg of ibuprofen which is continuously released for up to 7 days in proportion to the level of exudate.
