If you are an Ontario resident and an eligible beneficiary through ODSP (Ontario Disability Support Program), we can now bill ODSP directly for your approved medical supplies. This means you will have no out-of-pocket expenses for your essential medical supplies!


It's easy to get set up for ODSP direct billing:

1. If you haven't already done so, go to your local ODSP office and get a form for the Mandatory Special Necessities benefit.  Take this form to your healthcare professional (i.e. your doctor, nurse or ET nurse) to fill out the form, indicating the medical supplies that you need.  Return the filled form to your ODSP Caseworker, and wait for their approval.

2. Contact your Caseworker and ask them to fax us at 1-855-710-8070 a letter that authorizes CanMedDirect.ca to invoice ODSP for your approved medical supplies.  The letter should include:

     - Your ODSP Caseworker's full contact details for billing
     - The patient's full contact details, including ODSP member number
     - A list of approved medical supplies and the quantity of each that are needed per month

3. Once we receive the authorization letter from your Caseworker, we'll set you up in our system for ODSP direct billing.  You can then place your orders with us by phone (1-855-422-6633) or website (www.canmeddirect.ca) - we'll bill ODSP and ship the supplies directly to you.  If you use our website to order, be sure to select "Third Party Billing" as the payment method.
